We believe in the power of prayer, have seen its affects, and know the need of laying our desires before the Lord. You can partner with us by praying for the following:
- protection over the birth mom/dad and that they would know the love of God
- birth parents would make wise choices and have sound judgement
- the precious boy or girl that will be added to our family
- the final details of paperwork to get done efficiently and quickly
- patience as we wait and prepare
- God would give us opportunities to share about adoption not from merely a worldly standpoint, but how God has adopted us through His Son Jesus
Financially...
As many of you know adoption is incredibly expensive. Our international adoption will cost roughly around $40,000-$44,000. At the beginning of our adoption process the one thing that was holding us back was the money. We had asked God to provide since we knew we could not swing it financially. It has been so amazing seeing God answer this prayer. Since last May we have seen thousands of dollars come through and are 1/4 of the way there.
